Morientes

The former Blancos attacker took to Twitter to voice his views on the Champions League semi-final second-leg at the Allianz Arena as part of Heineken's 'Share The Sofa' campaign
Real Madrid put in an impressive defensive performance at the Allianz Arena as they thrashed titleholders Bayern Munich 4-0 (5-0 agg.) in the second leg of their semi-final tie of the Champions League to book their ticket for next month's showpiece in Lisbon.

Pep Guardiola's men started the match with attacking intentions, but two goals from Sergio Ramos quickly ended the Bavarians' ambitions before Cristiano Ronaldo poured even more salt on their wounds.

Former Madrid striker Fernando Morientes was left breathless at full-time after tweeting throughout the encounter as part of Heineken's 'Share The Sofa' evening.

Goal compiled a list of our favourite tweets from the Spaniard during and after the game, as he talked Guardiola, Xabi Alonso, Ronaldo and Ramos.

Morientes on Bayern Munich

"Bayern's getting all the possession, but so far they're not doing anything with it."

"Bayern need four goals now, and no team has done that all season."

"Ribery's trying to get into the game. Robben is nowhere."

"Nothing more Pep can do tonight - he'll be at a loss. Needs to figure out how to get FCB back up for the next game."

Morientes on Real Madrid

"Ramos again! if Madrid play it smart now, this game's over."

"Number 3! Ronaldo smashes his way into the record books!"

"Real have done everything right in terms of tactics - that first early goal made it hard for Bayern."

"It's a wonderful moment when you turn the Allianz into a library. They'll be feeling like kings right now."

How much of a blow will Xabi Alonso's absence in the final be following that yellow card? @Heineken #ShareTheSofa

Goal @Goal_intl
Would you say Bayern have actually become a weaker team under Pep Guardiola compared to last year's team? @Heineken #ShareTheSofa

Morientes: "They won the treble last year, so how could they do any better? Pep's doing a good job adapting their style. And they still made the semi's, going out to the (hopefully) champions."
